well done scotland ,i had the pleser to watch your squad proform at the weekend in the uks. i think it is oustanding ,that you have achived a world class squad from such a small amount of clubs .this is a fine example of what can be achived from a squad systeam.well done !

I would like to congratulate Scotland squad and their clubs for a quite outstanding display in the art of indoor tug of war. Quite how you structure your training to acheive such teamwork is beyond us, but it certinaly is immpressive and very effective! A squad system is a good way of pooling talent without a doubt escpecially in Scotland where if the coach is to be beleived, there are only 30 indoor pullers in Scotland. However in England there are many clubs with many pullers, to pool the best pullers into a squad would do nothing to keep new pullers coming through as the incentive of representing their country wouldnt be there. The UK`s were indeed a sucsess but sorely missed the Kilroe`s and Norton`s to challenge the Scots and i`m sure if they were there the clean sweep certinaly wouldn`t have been so easy. Lets hope they are back next year.

Just like to say well done to all the pullers from Scotland, great weekend also thanks to Martin Flint for his positive comment`s. Yes Kilroe and Norton wre missed but we can only pull against the teams who turn up. I am sure we will see Kilroe next year Norton who know`s it would be nice to get them all out at next year`s WC Indoor`s in Italy.

To reply to your message if I may!! To get caught cheating you have to cheat in the first place!! We have NEVER and will NEVER stoop so low as to do such a thing. This is a squad of guys who have been in tug of war for almost 20 years and have learned from the highs and the lows along the way. Accusations not only ruin your reputation but also the sports!!Please also refrain from using that language on this website.

WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED IS DOWN TO HARD WORK AND DEDICATION!! And have you ever thought that maybye just maybye the problem for you that we have been winning has been you just havn't been good enough!!
